Any questions for Christopher Christie?

Crime-busting U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie - the bane of corrupt politicians in New Jersey - will be meeting with the Asbury Park Editorial Board Monday. Have anything you want us to ask him? Post it as a blog response, or e-mail me at rbergmann@app.com.

Yes. Ask him will it end anytime soon? Is there a light at the end of the tunnel? Or are there more and more indictments just waiting to be processed against more NJ pols?

Ask him if he thinks that successfully prosecuting the corrupt will make any positive impression on those who wish to hold office in NJ?

Ask him if anyone has said 'thank you' to him. Tell him I said thank you. He may be just doing his job, but apparently, he's the only one in this position who's doing it right.

if possible please ask him if he plans to make any plea bargins. I would encourge him not take any plea bargins. these office holders took an oath when they came into office. they need go under oath again (in court) and start righting their wrongs.

Ask Mr. Christie why he lacks the courage to indict former Senator John Bennett? Ask him why his office sent a letter to Bennett's attorney in which he informed that lawyer that Bennett was not the target of a Federal grand jury invesitigation?

Ask him when does he expect former Marlboro Mayor Matthew Scannapieco to be sentenced? How much time off his sentence does he expect Scannapieco will receive for cooperating with Christie's office?

Ask him if he will categorically rule out running for any elective office here in New Jersey at any time in the future? If he says he won't make such a promise, ask him if a reasonable person could then conclude that he probably does have political ambitions and that those ambitions might affect the cases he chooses to file -- or, more importantly, not file (e.g., letting a still influential Republican like John Bennett off the hook).

Ask him he thought the Attorney General lied when he testified before Congress recently that he "couldn't recall" many of the events surrounding the Administration's decision to fire various US Attorneys? Ask him if the Attorney General's memory is always so faulty?

Ask him why does he think the President issues so few pardons and commutations when compared to other presidents?
