About Me
- Name: Randy Bergmann
Randy Bergmann is editorial page editor of the Asbury Park Press. Before joining the Press in 2002, he worked as a national editor for The Associated Press in New York City. He previously served as editor of the New Jersey Herald, a daily newspaper serving Sussex County, N.J., and managing editor of The Princeton (N.J.) Packet. A native of Westfield, Bergmann has spent all but four years of his life in New Jersey. He has a master's degree in journalism from Ohio University and also has done graduate work in journalism at New York University. He and his wife have three children - a 4-year-old son and 1-year-old twins (a boy and a girl). When he isn't working or hanging with his kids, he likes to listen to rock, classical and Big Band music, attend plays and concerts in New York City, read P.G. Wodehouse novels and travel. He has visited more than 50 countries.
