Any questions for Assembly minority leader?

Alex DeCroce, R-Morris, the Assembly Minority Leader since 2003, will be meeting with the Asbury Park Press editorial board on Tuesday. If you have any questions for DeCroce about the GOP agenda, the state of the Republican Party in New Jersey or anything else, post them on this blog or forward them to me at rbergmann@app.com.

Anonymous said...: Where does the GOP stand on Autism awarenes, the fact that autism in New Jersey is alarmingly on the rise, with no accurate measure for why this is happening? What will be done to aid the parents and the children themselves, as well as the school systems that educate them?

I am a former GOP Mayor and School Board President and am rapidly becoming disgusted with both parties. I understand the political dynamics that go into a campaign, but all a get in the mail is a mountain of say-nothing campaign literature which makes me mad! Randy Bergmann is editorial page editor of the Asbury Park Press. Before joining the Press in 2002, he worked as a national editor for The Associated Press in New York City. He previously served as editor of the New Jersey Herald, a daily newspaper serving Sussex County, N.J., and managing editor of The Princeton (N.J.) Packet. A native of Westfield, Bergmann has spent all but four years of his life in New Jersey. He has a master's degree in journalism from Ohio University and also has done graduate work in journalism at New York University. He and his wife have three children - a 4-year-old son and 1-year-old twins (a boy and a girl). When he isn't working or hanging with his kids, he likes to listen to rock, classical and Big Band music, attend plays and concerts in New York City, read P.G. Wodehouse novels and travel. He has visited more than 50 countries.
